The Dell 2019 season is here and what better way to kick off the season then with a great playlist. Fans voted, and the old school classic’s overruled the new school music. Here are the top songs to jam to this summer.
“Before I Let You Go” by Frankie Beverly and Maze
The perfect song for cookouts and parties. It is the ultimate line dance song and it is the song of the summer especially since Beyonce sampled it.
“Quiet Time to Play” by Johnny Gill
You’ll be singing along to this smooth R&B classic after the second replay. As you are vibing along, you’ll probably want to do a simple two step too.
“Say Yes” by The Whispers
The melody will trigger a warm feeling and I promise you the chorus will get stuck in your head.
“Make it last Forever” by Keith Sweat
This is the track old folks tell young folks “You don’t know nothin’ about this.”
“Family Reunions” by O’Jays
A smooth old school jam. You may have heard the sampled version by Erykah Badu featured in the film Poetic Justice.
“So Into You” by Tamia
This song will stir up all those good memories from the 90’s and 00’s. For the younger generation, once you’ve listened to this track you’ll never forget the hook.
“River Rise” by India Arie
Looking for a song to calm your nerves? River Rise is the perfect meditation song to recenter yourself.
“All the way” by Ledisi
If you are looking to get emotional, this song will take you there.
“I Wanna Know Your Name” by The Intruders
A soulful track filled with smooth talking sensual harmonization.
“Closer” by Ne-Yo
This song slowly pumps you up and keeps you at a great pace that gets you in the zone. It’s also great for workouts.
“You Don’t Know” by Tank featuring Wale
Caution! This R&B song is explicit—a catchy chorus and nice vibe. Compared to the old school R&B, you can really see how this genre has evolved.
“Soul of a Woman” by Johnny Gill
A newly released single ranking in at #1 on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs.
Don’t miss out on the upcoming concerts.
