We hope this letter finds you well and that you have enjoyed a blessed and safe year thus far. The Dell team has been working diligently in preparation for the 2026 season, and we are pleased to share exciting news regarding the future of our venue. Our Mayor, the Honorable Cherelle L. Parker, has allocated $1.5 million in the City’s budget specifically for the Dell Music Center. These funds will support both capital improvements and operational costs. We are extremely grateful for this investment and look forward to the enhancements it will bring as we continue providing high‑quality entertainment in a safe and beautiful environment.

As a valued season ticket holder, you remain the foundation of the Dell Music Center. Your support helps preserve the rich culture and welcoming atmosphere that makes the Dell so special. Once again, we will open the season ticket holder program to new customers. The 2026 Essence of Entertainment concert series will begin on Thursday, July 9th, and conclude on Thursday, August 27th. Our opening night on July 9th will be a special celebration honoring the nation’s 250th birthday and Philadelphia’s musical legacy. In addition to the Thursday series, the Dell will host several other exciting events, including Wawa Welcome America’s Black Music Month Concert on Thursday, June 25th, a free event featuring legendary Philadelphia rapper EVE. We will also present a special Praise Under the Stars concert on Saturday, July 18th, featuring Tasha Cobbs‑Leonard, Chandler Moore (formerly of Maverick City), and Jon Reddick. Platinum Productions will return with two fan‑favorite shows: Lady B’s Basement Party and Patty Jackson’s Party in the Park. Artist announcements will begin the week of May 4th.

Please note our updated box office schedule. Beginning Tuesday, May 19th, the box office will be open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Special hours for season ticket package purchases will be offered on Tuesday, May 12th, Thursday, May 14th, and Friday, May 15th, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Season ticket packages include one ticket to each of the eight Thursday concerts:

  • Sections A–K: Regular price $960; Season ticket package price $920
  • Sections L–T: Regular price $720; Season ticket package price $680

Season ticket packages will be offered until Friday, June 12th at 5:00 PM.

Individual concert tickets will go on sale on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM at both the box office and www.ticketmaster.com. The box office will be open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on this date. Please note that season ticket packages will not be available for purchase on May 18th, but sales will resume on May 19th.
