This season marked the 10 year reopening anniversary of the Dell Music Center. For the past 80 years, the Dell has been the home of summer concerts in Philadelphia. During its 10 year anniversary, the Dell hosted chart-topping artists Keith Sweat, India Arie, SWV, Faith Evans, Anthony Hamilton, Guy featuring Teddy Riley, and many more. 3 million people visited the amphitheater located in East Fairmount Park. Additionally, this year the venue broke the record for the most sold-out shows with 9 sell-out shows.
There were so many memorable moments and those moments contained a vibe like no other. Including peace, serenity, love, unity, black girl magic, and freedom. The freedom to live in the moment and not be judged. The freedom to feel at home and be part of the culture. And the freedom to experience old school Soul, Funk, R&B, and Hip-Hop.
